I’m a Lash Artist for 8+ years and Lash Educator and lover of true lash artistry. When I became a lash artist over 8 years ago, I was taught to use .15 diameter classic lashes from a pot & the same for volume lashes.
It use take me so long to pick and sort these lashes before application. Since then I have been determined to have my work improve and stand out, I have really focused a lot on education and online courses to grow in the industry and to be able to share all of my knowledge with YOU!
In the last 2 years, I’ve set myself apart by doing work that stands out.It’s all about finding your niche market in your area. And I want to help you do the same. Learning how to map properly, understanding retention and understanding your clients needs.
It’s how you make a client feel at the end of the day, that will ensure a returning client base AND more importantly, make your clients feel like YOU CARE deeply about their unique features and desires. Truly understanding WHY we map our clients, WHY retention is so important .
We have successfully trained 13+ students in the last year & a half and their work & success speaks for itself. When you are truly passionate & committed in what you do, there are no boundaries.

the proud owner and lash artist at Lola’s Lash Artistry. I’m happily married to the love of my life, and together, we have two beautiful children – our perfect little pigeon pair.
As a certified Lash Artist in Classic, Volume, and Mega Volume lashes, I can confidently say that lashing holds a special place in my heart. I’m obsessed with lashing – it’s truly a world of its own, and yes, we might just be a little lash cult (but the good kind, of course!).
I started my lashing journey back in 2015 and every day, I strive to practice, perfect, and expand my skills. I believe that continuous practice is the key to success – no matter how small the steps might seem, progress is still progress, and it’s always worth celebrating.
Looking back, I’m beyond proud of where I started, and it’s amazing to see how far this industry has come. In 2019, I opened Lola’s Lash Artistry as a lash studio and have slowly turned it into a training hub, with the aim of filling a significant gap in the market, especially here in Durban.
Now, alongside my fantastic co-trainer, Tash, who has moved to Cape Town, we pour our hearts into teaching and mentoring future lash artists all over the country. We are absolutely passionate about what we do, and nothing gives us greater joy than seeing our students thrive and build their own lash empires. It’s like planting the seeds for a lush lash garden and watching it grow, one perfect set of lashes at a time!
